The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board announced that it had remit 5 billion naira to the federal treasury in 2019 as a result of the 2019 UTME That Took Place In April

This is stated in the Council’s weekly bulletin, Fabian Benjamin, Media and Information Officer at JAMB, which was signed Monday in Lagos State.

Benjamin later said in a telephone interview with the Nigerian news agency that the federal government had returned 2 billion naira to the board out of the 5 billion naira to improve their operations.

“The commission has returned 5 Billion Naira to the federal government, but for this amount, the commission has received 2 Billion Naira to improve its operations,” he said.

At the same time, some UTME candidates reported difficulties in accessing their results by telephone in 2019, as recommended by JAMB.
